FitAI Health Connect Privacy Details

These FitAI-specific disclosures supplement the official Be F.L.Y Fitness Privacy Policy. They explain how FitAI collects, uses, stores, and lets you control Android Health Connect information.
Information we collect
- Account information: Name, email, account profile, and authentication-related information.
- Fitness and wellness records: Workouts, progress, body measurements, meal/activity logs, and information you voluntarily enter.
- Progress photos: Photos you choose to upload for body scans and progress tracking.
- App operations: Basic usage and diagnostic information used to operate and improve the app.
- Payments: Transactions are processed through payment providers such as Stripe; FitAI does not need to store your full payment-card number.
Optional Android Health Connect access
Read-only, optional: If you grant permission, FitAI can read your daily steps, distance, and active calories from Android Health Connect and save daily summaries to your signed-in FitAI account. FitAI does not write or change data in Health Connect.
If you choose “Preview Device Workouts,” FitAI additionally requests permission to read exercise sessions. Those sessions are displayed on request and are not added to FitAI workout-completion totals.
Auto-sync is off by default. If you turn it on, FitAI refreshes permitted activity when you open or return to the Android app, and periodically while you use it. It does not read Health Connect while the app is closed or in the background. You can turn auto-sync off in FitAI Settings.
Health Connect permissions can be denied or revoked at any time in Android Settings → Health Connect. Revoking access stops new readings but does not automatically delete activity summaries already stored in FitAI. Use FitAI Settings → Delete Activity Data to remove those stored summaries. Deleting them also turns off auto-sync.
How information is used
FitAI uses your information to display fitness history, track progress, personalize workout and nutrition features, provide app functionality, respond to support requests, and improve reliability. Imported Health Connect activity is shown in FitAI activity summaries; it does not automatically mark workouts completed.
Sharing and processing
FitAI uses service providers for app hosting, account services, and payments. Health Connect data is not sold to advertisers or data brokers and is not used for targeted advertising. Information you choose to share using separate social or community features may be visible according to those feature settings.
Storage, security, and retention
Imported daily Health Connect summaries are saved in your FitAI cloud account, not solely on your device. FitAI uses account access controls and encrypted connections to protect information during transfer. We retain information as needed to provide services and meet applicable legal obligations. Some transaction-related records may need to be retained for compliance.
Your choices and deletion
- Manage Android Health Connect permissions through your device’s Health Connect settings.
- Enable or disable foreground auto-sync in FitAI Settings.
- Delete previously imported daily activity summaries in FitAI Settings → Delete Activity Data.
- Use FitAI account and privacy controls to review or request changes to the information associated with your account.
Revoking permissions does not necessarily delete information already saved to your FitAI account; use the separate deletion control for that purpose.
